A Little Water Play Today

The kids had a lot of fun, we had a dinner and sprinkler play with all the kids, because N&B, & B&R leave for Seattle tomorrow.

The temperature is over 100*.

The Men Went Fishing

Trial Lake was a great fishing spot today.  All four men caught fish!!!

Sleepover

Most of the Grandkids at least the older ones slept out with me in our tent in the backyard,

Wed. night.  It was hot start to the night but cooled down in the early morning.  All slept well!!

Baby Owls Called Back

The baby owls at the Brown's had not been seen for several days.

The consensus was becoming that they were old enough perhaps they had flown away now.

but Cory has on owl recording on his phone, he let it call for the owls last night...

And this morning, look who appeared.

That has now been repeated 3 times, with success.  Three different times they were called by the phone at night, they returned the three different mornings.   We are sold on the idea that the owl calling brings the owls back!

Even the daddy owl was here this morning, the mama owl was either hiding really well or she was not here this morning.

Relaxation

This spot was such a wonderful place to relax after a busy day!!!

The umbrella on its side blocked the direct sun, the temperatures were not too hot and there was a slight breeze, perfect for an afternoon, evening snooze!

Thanks Russ for setting up the tilted umbrella!! And then going to the store to get some ice cream!!!!

Elsie is 3!

This little princess is still wearing her new princess gown the day after her Birthday!!!

I have an idea she will be wearing it for many days to come!

Growing

This is one of my heartthrobs who is growing so....

I got to spend time with him today and he is soooo cute, he loves his entertainment seat.  He just sat in it  moving from one toy to another very happily.

He rolls over and makes all kinds of cute noises, including his serious grunt.

He is a cute boy!!!
