Mother's Day Bloom

Russ gave me this beautiful geranium for Mother's Day. I put it in this pot in a basket on the front porch. I am trying to remember to water it!!!

Sanpellegrino

I think I have neglected to mention my all time favorite drink here.  I have become almost addicted to this drink with my bad allergies this spring.  This drink cuts through all the gunk that your allergy pill is unable to eliminate!!

It is bitter and oh so refreshing.  I originally liked this drink in an orange flavor but have come to love this lemon drink the best!!

A New Park

There is nothing like a great park!!
Abby & Carson & I went to their new favorite park today.
It was a great park.  Lots of toys in the sand, left daily so you have instant toys upon arriving. Everyone shares because they belong to no one.  There was tons of shade, a real plus for Granna.

This is what Carson did for almost 2 hours. He had a ringside view to the rest of the park and he was in heaven in his swing.  Especially with Granna bringing him things to eat.  Goldfish & Grapes.  Who wouldn't be in heaven in a swing for several hours?!

Rocket

Connor & Cory & Grandpa all built a rocket and launcher today.

When it was made, all went out to the backyard to watch it function.  It sent the rocket flying so high!!
What a success!!!!  Alot of fun!

Connor's Baseball Game

You can tell when someone has played a good game by the dust on their uniforms!!!  That is what someone has told these boys who do their best  to have dirty uniforms by the end of the games!!!

Mabel had an owie on her toe, she needed to show me!!

Roses

Here are some of my roses that are in bloom right now. They are all showing their beauty, they are quite spectacular.

New Lawn

The new green blades are poking through the dirt!

The beautiful green is quite a contrast to the dirt.  Hopes of a pretty area of lawn.

Abby Graduated!!

Abby graduated today from pre-school and will now be in Kindergarten next year!!!

Poppies and new lawn

I got an e-mail from Russ today telling me I had a poppy in bloom in the backyard and new grass sprouting from the grass seed planted to fill in the back lawn where the downed pine tree left the lawn bare.

I was tending in SL when I got the e-mail.

Tonight I checked it out... isn't the poppy beautiful.

I didn't get the lawn sprouting in photo yet!! Tomorrow...

These are the pumpkin seeds that Grandpa and the Gkids planted a week ago.  Soon they will be transplanted to Grandpa's pumpkin patch!!!  They are looking heathly!

Kate found treasure

Kate found this robin egg Sunday.  It is my first sighting of a robin's egg this year.  I am not sure where the nest is yet.  Kate found the egg in the front yard by the second drive way.

Mabel Shined

Mabel had her end of the year program today. Her preschool does such a cute program.

Mabel wants to be a princess when she grows up.  Some of the boys wanted to be big, a Dad, when they grew up and one boy didn't want to grow up!

I love that the whole front row is there to support Mabel!!!
