Women's Broadcast

Anna helped me with my church responsibilities yesterday.

Our stake has a dinner for the sisters of our stake prior to the Women's Broadcast. We usually plan and have had about 320 sisters for dinner. I have been responsible for the food for the dinner for the last 4 years. Last night was perhaps the last time I will have this assignment.

Anna stayed available to me all day long in getting ready and preparing for the dinner.  She was my right arm.  I so appreciate her help.   And as always Russ was there for any need too!

We had a wonderful turn out of sisters to the evening. We guess we had more than 350 sisters at the dinner. We had even more than that number to the meeting.

It was a wonderful night. The talks were outstanding.  It was a very edifying meeting.

Changing colors

This morning was the first time I have seen or I should say noticed the changing colors on the mountains!!

I am always shocked when something is right there and I haven't even noticed!!!

My Good Day

I was tending R&L's family today. 

It was a very different day than usual when I tend down there.

Kate was at school when I arrived. Abby was also at pre-school when I arrrived.

Carson was asleep for his morning nap.

So... I got out my yarn and crocheted for a couple of hours.  Carson woke up about 10 minutes before Abby was dropped off from her school.

It was much more like my tending days then. Within a few minutes of getting lunch ready it was time to go walk to get Kate from school.

H&C arrived and dropped off C&M&E.  Me and the kids all walked up to get Kate and Kate's friend Kennedy.  I was so sad I didn't get my camera before starting off for our walk. There were so many cute cute photos along our way.

We got back to R&L's and had a great day together.

Chickens

Yesterday I saw my neighbors chickens out in their yard.

I found it so picturesque I have gone down today and let out my chickens.

They are happy to be out. I have had fun watching them this morning.  They are very friendly despite not being let out around people very often.

I hope they find lots to eat and enjoy their freedom today.  They are delightful!!!
