Mouse

Our Mouse had his front paws taken out, his last set of vaccinations, and was neutered prior to Christmas...

For about a week we felt like the wild cat we took to the vet had been replaced by a very docile creature..

It took about a week for Mouse to return to his mischief fun manner.  He is tempered quite a bit by not being able to leave a mark from his attacks and frolick.  He has fallen on several jumps that were not able to be successful without the grabbing ability of his front claws.  But I am happy to say he is a delightful
much friendlier little guy.  I do have claw and teeth marks on my arms and hands still but not nearly the same amount!   It is much more possible to control the biting without having to dodge the claws of his front paws at the same time.

Look how cute and vulnerable he looked when we picked Mouse up at the Veterinarian after his surgery day...

Mouse had his front paws bandaged and he had a hallow(?) around his head so he would not pull off the bandages which he tried to do immediately after awakening from the anesthesia.

We kept the bandages on for a day and then we took them off and Mouse did well after that.  He licked his paws and limped around for a day or two and layed around the first week and then our fun Mouse returned!
