Delightful Treat

What a delightful treat to have Mabel visit Grandma for a couple of hours this afternoon.

That makes a Grandma's day mighty special.

We made popcorn for the cartoons. We sat watching for a minute till the popcorn was gobbled.

We had a plate of shredded cheddar cheese while the show( with the dog that looks like Zoe )began on the 

DVD player. It was decided after eating all the shredded cheese but one last bite that we were done and the show Marley (with the dog that looks like Zoe) is a bad show.

We played in the flour for a long time making lemon bars.

We took flight on the swings which quickly moved us to the helicopter that took us on a good flight for a long time this afternoon. Mabel was our excellent driver. 

She gave most of the commands. Which included Grandma getting out of the helicopter a couple of times till it became evident to Mabel that getting out of the helicopter for grandma was much more involved than her just jumping out on a whim!!!

Different size/ different agility.

Our afternoon treasure was finding peach pits that our squirrel had eaten the centers out of. Who knew squirrels ate Peach Pits!!!????

Grandma and Zoe loved the good company this afternoon.
