This doll is from Poland. She has native attire on. She was one of a collection of similar dolls we collected years ago when I was a girl. As we visited different countries we would buy one of these dolls in their native dress.
The doll is made of wood. I thought they were all exqusite.
This is the only one I know that still exists.
I think she is a beautiful illustration of the charm of handmade. With her wonderful details.
She is charming as they all were.
