New Ferns

Dad Packer gave us some of their ferns this week.  We have gotten some ferns from their yard before this year.  It is nice to have some more for around the yard.

We had ferns in Michigan too. They like the shade.  Russ has planted these transplanted ferns in various places in the yard.  They seem to have done pretty well with the transition to our yard.  He put some down in the shade by the gazebo, in the shade under the apple trees against the fence and at the base of the north pine tree.  

I think they will make a lovely addition out back.
