Clematis

Clematis have been long time favorite flowers.

We had a huge clematis vine on the side of our front porch in our home in Michigan.  That was my first introduction to this fabulous blooming vine.  It would bloom all summer long, big beautiful blooms covered this vine that covered the end of our porch.

Years later Little Russ brought me home my first clematis in Utah.  He brought it home on the bus from mowing G&G Clark's lawn in SLC.  He brought it for Mothers Day.  It is still thriving on the side of our yard.

 I will always remember the image of Russ getting of the bus, proudly carrying his clematis plant.

Here you see the 2 trellis that hold our clematis plants.  The plants are just greening up this Spring!

The trellis soon become laden with beautiful blooms!
