Our backyard has always been divided into areas. The upper lawn is the groomed part of our backyard.
The middle lawn is between these two fences.
The lower lawn is beyond this fence!
The middle lawn has our sandbox and swingset, our fruit trees and an open field. We have used that field many a family night and weekend. We have had soccer games, mostly baseball games there.
We had baseball when the kids were young.
That field has been resurrected of late years and it is a new generation playing on the field again.
I think the play will continue for years to come on that middle field!!
